SOFF Service Hub One Relationship. Many Services.

Sometimes the First Step Is Understanding the Problem

Some service calls can be made more efficient when the right information is collected first.

SOFF may therefore offer assessment options where they are likely to save time, reduce unnecessary travel or improve the information available to a provider.

Remote Assessment

Customers can provide photographs, videos, model numbers, measurements and other relevant information. SOFF organizes the information into a useful service brief.

Remote Assessment is information collection and organization, not professional diagnosis unless an appropriately qualified specialist is expressly involved.

In-Person Assessment

Where useful, someone may visit the property to observe, photograph, measure and document the situation before the appropriate provider is selected.

A general assessor does not perform regulated technical diagnosis unless appropriately qualified.

Specialist Assessment

Some situations require professional technical judgment. In those cases, SOFF will seek an appropriately qualified specialist rather than treating a general assessment as professional diagnosis.

Honest advice

Assessment Is Not Always Necessary

We recommend assessment only where it is likely to add value. Sometimes the best answer is simply to connect the customer directly with an appropriate provider.

When you send photos or documents, please upload only information relevant to the service request. Do not upload payment-card details, government identification or unrelated private documents.
