For basic provider connections, payment is normally made directly to the provider. Different arrangements may apply to SOFF-delivered or specially coordinated services and will be explained beforehand.

Not every service requires a licence. For regulated or higher-risk work, SOFF’s provider checks should reflect the type of service and applicable requirements. Customers should never assume that every person in the network is qualified for every category of work.

For an independent basic provider connection, the provider is responsible for its own work, quotation, contract, payment terms and warranty unless SOFF expressly agrees otherwise.

SOFF Assessment is an optional way to collect and organize useful information before deciding the next step. It may be remote, in person, or specialist-led depending on the situation.
